Walthamstow sits just east of us, on the far side of the Lea Valley and the reservoirs. Most people head west on Forest Road or come down past Blackhorse Road and over the river, and you are at Garman Road in roughly ten minutes off-peak. It is close enough that you can drop the car and walk to Tottenham Hale, or wait with a coffee while we look at it.
The work that comes in from E17 is a real mix. Tight street parking around the Village and Hoe Street means a lot of bumper scuffs, kerbed alloys and wing mirror knocks, and we turn most of those around in a day. We also get plenty of older cars in for a full respray or a colour change once the lacquer has gone, and a steady run of mechanical jobs: brakes, diagnostics, timing chains and MOT prep.
Because the bodyshop and the garage share one yard, a car that needs paint and a service does not have to go to two places. We can quote the bodywork and sort the mechanical side in the same visit, which saves a second trip back over the river.
Bodywork and mechanical under one roof
From Walthamstow, head west on Forest Road or come down via Blackhorse Road and cross the River Lea towards Tottenham Hale. Pick up Watermead Way and turn onto Garman Road; we are at number 59, N17 0UN. It is about ten minutes off-peak. There is parking on site, and Tottenham Hale station (Victoria line and Overground) is a few minutes away if you want to leave the car with us.
Good to know
How long does it take to get to you from Walthamstow?+
Around ten minutes off-peak. You head over the Lea Valley via Forest Road or Blackhorse Road and onto Watermead Way and Garman Road. In rush hour allow a bit longer.
Can you do a scuffed bumper or kerbed alloy in a day?+
Most of the time, yes. Smaller bumper scuffs, scratches and kerbed alloys are usually a same day job if you bring the car in early. Call first and we will give you an honest idea before you set off.
Do you handle both paint and mechanical work?+
Yes. The body shop and a full mechanical garage are on the same site, so brakes, diagnostics, timing chains, servicing and MOT prep can be sorted alongside any paint or bodywork.
Can I leave the car and get the train back?+
That works well from Walthamstow. Tottenham Hale station is a few minutes from us on the Victoria line and Overground, so you can drop the car off and head back without waiting around.
