Ceramic coating is a liquid layer that bonds to your paint and cures to a hard, glossy finish. It is not a wax that washes off in a few weeks. Done properly it protects the paint for years, deepens the colour and shine, and makes dirt, water and road grime much easier to rinse off.
The real benefit is day to day. Water beads and runs off instead of sitting on the panel, so the car dries cleaner and water spots are easier to avoid. Bird mess, tree sap and road salt sit on top of the coating rather than attacking the paint directly, which gives you a window to wash them off before they do harm.
The finish is only as good as the prep. We wash and decontaminate the paint, correct light swirls and marks where needed, then apply the coating panel by panel and let it cure. Skipping the prep is how cheap coatings end up sealing in swirl marks, so we do it properly before anything goes on.
Coatings come in different grades and lifespans, and we will talk you through what suits the car and how you use it. A daily driver parked on the street has different needs from a weekend car kept in a garage. We give you a clear, free, no-obligation quote before any work starts.
Because we also do paint and bodywork, ceramic coating is a natural finish to a respray or a tidy-up: get the panels right, then protect them. We are open every day from 08:00 to 22:00, so it is easy to book around work.
We coat and protect cars for drivers across North London, including nearby Seven Sisters, Wood Green and Walthamstow. Call 07349 766832 or message on WhatsApp to talk through the options.

Good to know
How long does ceramic coating last?+
It depends on the grade of coating and how the car is used and looked after, but a proper ceramic coating lasts years rather than the weeks you get from wax. We will tell you what to expect for the coating we recommend.
Is ceramic coating worth it?+
If you want to keep a car looking its best and make washing easier, it usually is. It protects the paint from bird mess, sap and salt, holds a deep gloss and helps resale. For a car you plan to keep or have just had resprayed, it pays off.
Does the paint need prep first?+
Yes, and it matters. We wash, decontaminate and correct light swirls before coating, because a coating locks in whatever is underneath. Proper prep is the difference between a coating that looks great and one that seals in marks.
Can you coat a car you have just resprayed?+
Yes. Fresh paint sometimes needs a little time to cure first, which we will advise on, and then a coating is a great way to protect the work. Doing both with us keeps it simple.
Want a physical chip barrier too? Ask about paint protection film, or have the car detailed first. We also do paint, bodywork and full mechanical work under one roof in Tottenham Hale.
